We are very happy to announce that our dear colleague and friend of Sarvodaya, Richard Flyer, is launching his new book, Birthing the Symbiotic Age this Thursday, December 7th, to coincide with Sarvodaya’s 65th Anniversary.
For more than 35 years, Richard has been translating the principles of Sarvodaya into a Western context; what he calls Symbiotic Culture – and successfully applying them “on the ground”. His novel approach creating a “network commons” to connect the good locally, offers a clear pathway towards what our Founder Dr. A.T. Ariyaratne called “Vishvodaya”, or World Awakening.
Richard has taken what Dr. Ari started 65 years ago and is showing the world how to apply it anywhere. We believe his vision and plan to empower thousands of local communities to empower themselves is not only possible, but necessary at this critical time.
